    That was me.... I didn't have the mana....

    That I found is also a flaw in 6 vs 6. I had no ammo whatsoever. I don't know if it is crossroads itself but for some reason I was never getting ammo. 6 vs 6 doesn't work on a map like crossroads. The winner is determined in the first 5 minutes.

    Yeah. When you get asked several days before the event about whether you can play for a team or not. Then get told, I'm not sure what grants doing. Then told I think hes getting Security. Then told 10 minutes before the match is due to start that security isnt playing. Why would I want to change what I planned to do just to fill that spot?

    I'll give you a clue. I didn't.

    Poor game grant, atleast spartacus tried to organise the team

    Emp_cod could have worked as another low pop map, but teef only wanted to do stock maps and that means crossroads if you want a commander map.

    It is nothing but trench warfare. With copious amounts of boomtanking. It's like if someone took the north east corner of canyon and turned it into a map. Everyone loves that.

    Yeah, that part of canyon is basically the best thing ever in Empires, but it only lasts until vehicles.

    cod is nearly that, but for the entire map.

    Only if people can't deal.

    After only like 2 weeks of ramboing, I passively "taught" the pubbing community how to deal with turrets.

    I can no longer hop on cod and win in 10 min, so I call it a resounding success.

    It doesn't sound like it went terribly tbh...but I don't really understand the setup. I mean, what's wrong with just signing a bunch of people up, getting some to step forward as captains, and then having people join the group they want to join?

    Or is that what happened? This thread is kinda confusing with all the randomness tbh...

    That's kind of what happened, only people weren't allowed to join teams. You had to make a team and enter the team in beforehand. Part of the fun was creating good team synergies and creating dynamics. Paradox helped me get Lawliet on the team who I think really tied things together. I never knew he was recording though..
