    Better to use whatever timezone the UK is on. UTC is confusing because for a decent portion of the year, no country actually uses UTC.

    DST isnt as common - only blue countries have it

    UTC is good since you only need to know your offsets. it was invented for this exact need - to coordinate events among different timezones. you guys are just being conservative.

    Hence why steam events are great for getting on time to shit. Other than that I feel as if some scrims were delayed due to timezone issues.

    Except for 2 things. Firstly, your offset changes throughout the year, whereas synchronising based off the UK means that you're ok for 52 weeks of the year with Europe, and 48 weeks of the year in the US (they go backwards and forwards with their time about 2 weeks before Europe).

    Secondly, have you looked at that map? How many Empires players beside Security can you name outside of the blue area? Like seriously, are you actually using that as an argument? The entire fucking community lives in a DST using country.

    Alright, My team and grants team pug server 1, FN and moojuice, Pug server 2.

    Vicki went through all the trouble of setting up the 2nd one on short notice so lets not diminish her kindness.

    I am sending the passwords to the team captains agian.
    The event starts in one hour that is 1pm Central and 7pm UK time.

    Can we seperate fn and moojuice teams first, just let fn play other team and moojuice other team so the finals culminate in moojuice versus fn it will be way more exciting

    Because UK is closest to US, everyone in the US knows it's 5 hours to UK East, 8 hours West. UK has the neutral timezone in the middle basically.
