Trump won. After thinking about it, it was... a much better win than I thought it was originally. I was hoping Trump would spill Clinton's blood on the stage, but that would be appeasing his hardcore/loyal supporters, he doesn't need to appease them anymore. He needs to draw in the independents. What he did on stage was absolutely fantastic for that.

While he did nab Hillary a bit, he seemed, more or less, presidential. He did NOT seem to have a temperament problem, unlike Hillary. This was the Democrats MAIN focus against Donald, his temperatment would throw the world into WW4, so big it skips 3, and at this debate Trump squashed that. He also got to squash the stop-and-frisk argument, the whole "Iraq war" issue, and he got to stomp on the whole taxes issue even saying she needs to produce the 33,000 emails she deleted. He seemed like he cared, while Clinton seemed like a robot, and that is what wins over the indeps, which is what he needs.

 

@complete ..not really it emphasizes small business and their growth and leaving the states rights alone which cover education, healthcare, just to name a few. Those are real issues not just talking points.

Its pretty sad that most arguments here over what hillary or what trump shouldve done is go after something people did in the past.
A debate is suppose to be a discussion about political and social issues that face the people of your country and not about anything else. A debate is suppose to enlighten why the candidates have their ideologies and the opponent is suppose to enlighten the public about why the other guys oppinion is inferior to his own. Not just attack the other guy.

The debates in america make me sick to the bone that you have politicians that need to convince people they will be the better president by trying to break down your opponents character and personality. It's almost watching a rap battle.

Think about it, he destroyed some false narratives about him and got people to do their own research while seeming non-threatening. That was a win for Trump.

He also didn't have to attack Hillary to appease his hardcore supporters, he needed to bring in Independents, which he did. Another win for Trump. He has calculated this all out I think, the man is a legend for his cost effective campaign and it is truly a marvel.

When something is contested at a debate, if they are independent they will.

 

trump is taking Hilary's bait hook line and sinker, hes now going after statements she made about Bills mistresses. He so thinned skinned he cant see this is the wrong path to take. The people want to hear about issues not 20 year old insults against women from either side.

He should simply say, Hilary has nothing to offer the American people is why she is dragging old alleged news stories, I do and then let him talk about Benghazi her emails her foundation the IRS scandal etc etc

I guarantee you he has a spin on this. Seriously, Trump hasn't fallen for much hook-line and sinker... I can count once when he did. Otherwise, every time you have said he has "fallen for it" he has gone up in the polls.
