    The Empires pug series (NF vs BE, 1 single round a week) were easily the best for drama. Nothing will ever come even close to that.

    Not really. He's fairly insignificant, besides the time that he got exiled DDoSing all the servers. That's the only time he's really had any impact on the game itself.

    I still life from the drama and the epic win created by that slaughtered match.
    Nothing in empires ever felt so well planned and perfectly enforced.

    GAMEPLAY-TIP: Get a computer that can run empires well!

    Things that will make your empires experience more enjoyable

    Stuff that will give you good performance:
    • CPU with very high singlethread-performance -->the Megahurtz actually matter the most
    • sufficient RAM --> 2 Gig are enough (for empires alone)
    • Dedicated Graphicscard -->anything in the range of GTX 260 will give you good performance for 80% of the time, pretty much everything above that class will give you a very good performance 95% of the time (there is actually no 100% for no one)


    Stuff that is pretty much irrelevant:
    • number of cores; Empires runs on one core only, so a dual core will suffice, when you don't have lots of cpu-intensive shit running in the background
    • SSDs/Raid0 setups


    Stuff that is generally a good idea to have:
    • a decent headset --> price does not define quality, anything around 30 EUR can be great already
    • Some Empires players on steamfriends
    • drama
