Devourawr breathed a sigh of relief as voices began to rally in his defence, the attention of the mob turned to Grantrithor.
"I've seen him fiddling with the tanks the last week." one person noted.
"Yeah, and I looked at the inventory and we've been coming up a barrel short on fuel every time he's been on a shift, he's been stockpiling them in plans for his big sabotage plans."
Grant looked around for support, none of his allies came to his aid.
One man stepped forward.
"Sorry Grant."
He drew his pistol and lined the sights up with Grant's head.
Grantrithor had never felt so abandoned.
With one shot Grantrithor was killed instantly.
