Not bad. comments above. I took out most of the production notes, but most were very useful since this is much more of a baby-stitting through the menus. If 1a-e are one continuous vid, we can re-work more of this segment so that it flows right into the rest of the video.

Again, feel free to edit, critique, complain..... it's a big section. This has been considerably slimmed down, so yell if I cut something important.
Also, even if I "incorporated" your edits, re-read just in case I vetoes or did something slightly different.
    EDIT2: incorporated BitterJesus' cuts
    EDIT3: minor tweak
    EDIT4: Quakum's edits

    3a,b Vehicles

In this video, you'll learn the basics of vehicles and vehicle combat in the game.

The Vehicle Factory, commonly abbreviated as VF, is a structure that allows the player to buy a vehicle. Walk into the buy zone of the Vehicle Factory and press your "USE" button on the screen in order to display the buying screen. Alternatively, you can press V, by default, in any part of the vehicle factory as long as you are inside the structure, and it will bring up the buying screen.

The first menu screen lets you choose your chassis. Choose the chassis in top left corner of the window. Some chassis are not available until your commander has researched them or they may be restricted by the server or map. Different chassis have different appearances, properties and costs, and allow for different weapons to be equipped.

Next up is the loadout screen. This shows the current loadout of your vehicle. If you're using a previous loadout, you can simply click on the next button. In order to customize your vehicle, press customize.

This is the Customization menu. It starts in the weapons tab. Each weapon you load has some weight, a cost, and slot size. The total weight your chassis can support and the total resources available for your team to spend are show here on the right of the slashes. The current cost and weight of your loadout is on the left. If your vehicle doesn't have enough empty slots for a weapon you won't be able to load it.

Click on the Armor Tab. This shows the type and number of plates of armor on your vehicle. Some types of armor have special properties, so be sure to read the descriptions. You can also adjust how many plates you have on each side of your vehicle.

Lastly, click on the Engine Tab. Here you can change out your engine type. All engines have different properties makes each one the best under a specific time and battle environment. Engines determine your speed, cooling and other properties of the vehicle.

Both Armor and Engines require research to make alternatives possible to utilize in vehicular builds.

Once you are done, click next.

This is the Weapon Grouping page. The numbers stand for the group number, whereas "Primary" and "Secondary" stand for the Primary Attack and Secondary Attack buttons respectively.

The next screen is the overlook of your vehicle. If you are satisfied with your vehicle, then click Build, and if the conditions are met, you will be spawned inside your newly built vehicle.

The vehicle is driven by the keys that are used for infantry movements, and the turret of the vehicle is controlled by the mouse. Keep in mind that some weapons' trajectory are affected by your vehicle's movement.

If you wish to leave or enter into a vehicle, press your "USE" button.

Upon entering a vehicle, in addition to the passenger list and the weapon equipment screen, the heat bar will appear on the screen. This bar can fill up due to numerous events that can happen to your vehicle. Each engine has different cooling properties, but almost all of them will stall when the heat bar reaches its limit. You will be unable to fire your weapons nor move your vehicle, and you will have to wait until your heat is partially dissipated.

Jeeps are the fastest and the cheapest vehicles in the game, and are usually used for transportation. These are the only vehicles which make all of the passengers and the driver of the vehicle vulnerable to enemy fire.

Armored Personnel Carriers, commonly abbreviated as APC are designed to provide support to infantry with firepower, but they can also be used in heavy vehicular battles with proper research. Not only can it hold up to seven other players but it resupplies them with health and ammo while they're inside. Additionally, specific research allows APCs to act as Mobile Spawn Points.

Next up are the available-by-default basic vehicular combat units. The original model of the AFV and the Light Tank have 3 slots of weapons, 1 for the Machine Gun, 1 for the Cannon, and 1 for the Missile Launcher. Both vehicles have variations in the number of plates that can be equipped and the number of passengers, as well as in appearance and size. Research allows for these vehicles to be upgraded with additional weapon slots, creating the MKII Variant.

Both of the Imperial Tank, and the Norther Faction Medium Tank, which are usually referred to as "Mediums", are slower than the AFV and Light Tank counterparts in speed, but provide more weapon and armor plate slots.

The most expensive chassis are the Heavy Tanks, providing the player with additional weapon and armor plate slots, the disadvantage of which is the slow speed and low maneuverability.

Artillery is the only vehicle in the game which is designed to utilize indirect fire to cause damage. Artillery weapons tend to have a large splash radius, and cause devastating damage to areas of impact. Artillery vehicles usually have a low amount of armor in order to be able to equip the heavy weight weapons, and are very fragile in direct combat.

Remember that all of the weapons require ammo to operate. Once the ammo is depleted, it needs to be refilled either at an Armory, Repair Station, or by an Ammo Box, which can be dropped by an an engineer.

As for you hull and armor plates, they can be repaired by either the Engineer tool or the repair pad. Regenerative armor will repair itself overtime, but not your hull.

Tanks engines require air to operate. So, being submerged in water will cause your vehicle to slowly take damage as the water seeps in.

The Commander Vehicle, commonly abbreviated as the CV, is the toughest and the most important vehicle in the game. It is only utilized in Classic Style maps. This one seated vehicle serves as protection and mobile control station for the player who is the commander for the team. Through this vehicle, research is conducted, structures are placed, commands and orders are given to the team. When destroyed, the team loses. Until you gain battle experience it is advised that you don't enter this vehicle.

It's good.. but far too long.

We won't be able to cramp this into under 1 minute. Or even 2. We want the viewer to know the essential info, not what color the cannon is.

Remember that this is 2 sections, so there is like 4 minutes to give it max. Still too long, but it's quite an important section, don't overcut.

ok, I'll re-post a slimmed down bare essential version in a bit.

The real question is how deep do we want to go? I frankly did put quite a bit in there, almost like a brain dump of vehicular stuff.

slimmed down version of section 3 now updated. I cut almost all the fluff and some of the details of tank roles, hoping the viewer will get them by inference.

Edit your post with my stuff please.

I had to make it shorter, but we'll probably have to cut more stuff.

other than the missing 'the' at the beggining, this is now very good. would suggest MKIIs are named, and a recomendation to customise.

Okay, here it is. I reckon it's a bit messy and long, but there are a few paragraphs that can be straight cut to reduce the length. Not sure about the messiness or if i've missed out anything important. I put some mini-headings in to sort it out a bit.

2g & 2h The scout, and associated skills.

The scout is the all around support class. The scout has a diverse arsenal to assist its flexible role. It has a ranged rifle to assist in long range infantry suppression, smgs to assist in a close combat and saboteur role. The scout has 3 types of grenades; a smoke grenade to provide cover, a concussion grenade which blinds the enemy and temporarily disables enemy turrets and a sticky-stun grenade which overheats the enemy vehicle when detonated, rendering the vehicle immobile for a short while and unable to fire. The scout also has the binoculars. The binoculars have the ability to spot buildings, infantry and vehicles when it is focused at the enemy and the fire key is pressed. If the enemy is destroyed by a teammate within a short time, the scout will earn a rank point.

An ability unique to scout is the ability to sabotage.

To sabotage a building, approach it and you will see a yellow hazard symbol. Once you see this symbol on your screen, hold the use key until the bar is filled and disappears. The building should now exude a thick plume of smoke out of the top. Sabotage disables or reduces the effectiveness of the building it is used upon - turrets will cease to function, barracks will spawn infantry at half health, and vehicle factories will spawn damaged vehicles, other structures suffer different . Additionally, sabotage damages the building by reducing it to half health immediately and continually doing damage until the building is destroyed or repaired. Sabotaging two buildings earns you a rank point, however, you cannot sabotage unbuilt buildings.

The scout has 5 class specific skills. Hide partially conceals the player, making him impossible to target by the commander and ignored by turrets. Hidden scouts can still be detected by cameras and players with enhanced senses. Hide makes the player partially see through while crouching or in prone position for a few seconds. They may move while hidden, allowing them to sneak past enemy lines or to approach a turret undetected. Hide increases in effectiveness depending on how many walls the scout is touching, and cloaks faster at higher ranks. Enhanced senses allows nearby enemies to be detected and displayed on the mini-map as an icon, without being spotted or seen. Radar stealth hides you from all enemy surveillance devices, although it can still be seen by the players. Vehicle speed increases the maximum speed of a vehicle by 20% when you are driving it. And the weapon silencer skill reduces the noise produced by a weapon and hides his kill/death messages from the enemy. An inbuilt perk of the scout class is increased stamina regeneration.

Edit 1: Edited as per BitterJesus' and Spellman's suggestions :)
Edit 2: Replaced Entirely with BitterJesus's version.
