    Man so far in this thread all I see is sour grapes and sarcasm.

    And LazyBum since you're only one with a srs question. If you're gonna do running especially with extra weight, run on the sand or a soft surface. And running is generally the least effective method of losing fat (if that's what you're into)

    And Trickster, while PEDs are a viable choice, 90% of you people are simply not within even a year of properly using the drugs. Yes you can try starting a cycle just as you start working out but it's HIGHLY recommended that you at least know wtf you're doing in the gym and have some kinda understanding of weightlifting mechanics. You aren't gonna get a 'Rarri engine for a Civic you know? So don't fuck up your body carelessly.

    I know people who do use steroids and some of them seem to be relatively side effect free, remember that these effects can take years to develop and you won't know and by the time you do it'll be too late. Proper nutrition and exercise will take you above 95% of the people even in the gym anyway (unless you go to a powerlifting gym and don't need this advice anyway). In addition, steroids won't magically make you a monster. It still takes a tremendous amount of work to build up your body, it will just increase the "limit" of your body.

    As for the random "25 year old with old people joints", nice bro science, I heard shit like that from my mother when she didn't want me to train and be "a nice boy". It's false. Weightlifting is actually one of the safest sports you can take part in (safer than most team sports, including soccer and basketball, as per mins/injury), shit like crossfit and retard ego lifters with terrible form is what skews this statistic into the negative light.

    Perhaps you should try being less aggressive?

    That was a joke at my own expense. I'm only 20 and my knees are giving out on me because I don't take care of my body. I got them old person pains.

    trained support-musculature eases joint pain - go swimming, its good for a whole range of muscles without much stress on joints thanks to the waters lift (contrary to running).

    This is true. Swimming is quite MLG for le body.
