i will take that help wmg but lets go for next saturday in fact, why dont you go ahead and contact vipers (craig gates? vicki?), make a thread, and start spamming announcements in all your groups. i'll spam my groups and cover at least 50% of the bribes, (in addition top picking the maps).
next friday equals 12 november? Btw you should get admin rights for the steamgroups from trickster and schtuff
The first 2 aren't used for pug advertising, and they're for developers only. The latter is my personal server group page, and I don't mind throwing up an announcement on there when the pug is starting.
delightfully retarded. the 12th is thiscoming saturday. i imagine they are referring to the 19th. aka next saturday
tell that to the Empires Summer League's original organizers... I'll start making threads, steam group events, etc. this weekend. We will need to do some word-of-month and on-server advertisements as only a fraction of the Empires community goes on the forums or steamgroup. I'll suggest to Vicki (and Tricky if he still has a box for Empires) to create an empty, locked server with the date/time of the PUG.
ill come if someone fixes my computer Code: 0x0000007B 0XB84C3524 0XC0000034 0X00000000 0X00000000 got it from a javascript exploit that disabled my task manager and then popped up tons of error messages
If your system restore points are corrupted, you might have conficker. Basically HIV for computers, so you're fucked.
I would copy/paste their errors on google and look for IT forums that have dealt with the same malware. I'm not sure if you can access/use your Windows system restore caches from Ubuntu (assuming you have already tried safe mode). Maybe you can find the corrupted files from those forums and delete/quarantine from Ubuntu (e.g. modify the file so it is unusable in Windows).
System restore points are likely also compromised. Use it as a good excuse to rebuild your PC. If you are determined to save your OS then pull the hard disk and put it in a usb caddy, load another computer/os up and scan it using that... Or a live cd. Either way running AV from a PC that is already infected is usually fail or way too much work.
The link I provided is a live windows dvd with a few AV/malware and other tools on it. You just need a windows xp cd to make the dvd. Doesn't have to be yours.
Just use the ubuntu cd to backup the stuff you want, like music, pics, school shit, and installers (assuming you don't delete installers). You most probably would have to format your drive, most viruses are written by logical people. On the bright side, you won't have anything to lose if you got Windows 7, now that you have to clean install everything again.
