    you can put 2 HE cannons and 2 normal cannons on a BE heavy, and still fit in decent amount of comp armor and a coolant engine. It kills nearly any vehicle except the CV in a few salvos.

    i had an odd thing on mvalley or whatever its called - my CVboomtank couldnt reverse up a small hill away from the water in the top left of the map, but it was ok in first.

    what sort of weird gearing is that? reverse should be far more powerful than first (unless big commtanks have messed up engines).

    what would be nice (imho) is to keep the generous max weight limit but to make a more pronounced slow down on heavy versus light loads on the tanks. a heavy with no armour and only on machinegun should be more manouverable than a loaded medium. depending on gears and things, it may still be slower at top speed but would have very good acceleration (as its geared to accelerate reasonably with 100tonnes rather than the 40odd it has etc (i guessed at numbers)).
