    There are some problems with the trees here. The same thing happens where you can actually see the trees through the other trees on some maps too.

    Map start shows NF victorious and BE defeated, which they were on the last map.

    I'm pretty sure the thing with the trees is an engine bug, which should hopefully be fixed with Episode 2

    eep ive waited forever for an answer on that. ok well cool at least it will be changed and will even match up with the new models.

    Building complete sound runs when you finish completely building a wall, this gets very annoying when doing walls in a row.

    also BE radar is missing it's outside walls so I can look into it from the outside.

    - water detail: simple reflections
    - shadow detail: high
    - color correction: disabled
    - antialiasing mode: none
    - filtering mode: trilinear
    - wait for vsync: disabled
    - HDR: none
    - HW DirectX: 8.0
    - SW DirectX: 9.0

    these are HL²'s suggested settings for my system.

    I also use the following settings in an autoexec.cfg as it was suggested in the wiki/forums(?):

    BTW: While the new smoke for the rockets looks nice it makes it almost impossible to guide it via mouse since you loose siht of your target :/

    Yes, i was able to look through the radar walls from a distance as well, with everything on high.

    - The mine counter was messed up: i had placed 5 mines. i die, respawn and get some new mines. The number of mines didn't change when i put new mines, but a mine did explode when i put the 9th one. Then when i put down yet another mine the counter went from 5 to 4.

    - Changing the controls while in game, makes them stop working( I changed the sprint and duck buttons, and couldn't do aether until reconnect).

    Thats all i got from yesterdays short play test.

    Game feels much better now, and looks to, except of the difference in gun models, but that will be fixed so i am not complaining.

    Some additional suggestions:
    - add a keybinding to scroll by moving the mouse as it is for zoom/rotate
    - add a timer for buildings being recycled
    - add targets of turret to the minimap as if they were spotted by a radar/cam
    - add an indicator for the current research to the normal HUD

    Another suggestion:
    -if you are engi and trying to build a building thats beeing recycled, it should show up a message like "this building is beeing recycled!" instead of wasting the ammo of the calculator :/
