The second was more fun I thought - ended quicker. Also we should prolly tell you commentators more info beforehand, like the current score and rivalry between the teams, and who chose the map, who has the server advantage, etc. Commentating is actually really good for first time I thought. Might want to do more stuff on the history of the clans to give people a background.
Yeah, that's the purpose of a color commentator. We need an Empires history buff in there (i.e. Axeman minus the pointless knowledge about unimportant countries in the Eastern hemisphere).
I liked the commentating a lot, but it would have been more interesting if the video actually had the GUI up. It would at least have shown the minimap.
Also the good thing about HoN is that it shows who kills who. Best thing about watching esports is picking your hero on each team and supporting them. That's another thing that I think should be included - more personalisation of the players, who's in what squads, etc.
Yeah, if I do it again I'm going to run a delayed cast through justin tv or something like it that allows you to save the video after. Or even just do it live and not give the link out. I remembered latter on in the video that he had turned the GUI off and tried to give updates on tickets.
lololol that apc rush that Jephir followed in the beginning of the third part is so much fun! this is fun to watch, but would be way better if we could see the minimap. Empires looks pretty good when you have a decent computer lol
the major fumble was that a lot of EPIC killspawned to the apc and it died 3 seconds after everyone killed themselves
This should be posted on the main Empires page. There might even be a few Newbies who see it and get an idea of what AWESOME EMPIRES! is like. Also, gameplay strategy and stuff. Or we could just put them in front page because they are really fun videos.
naa, that scrim was kinda boring gameplay wise. just deffing in chokepoints and wall pushing the whole time. it's not the kind of thing id advertise on the frontpage for new players.
One day, I will learn to accept that Level 1 MLs actually do damage. But for now, I still refuse to believe I should care about anything other than Grens and stickybombs earlygame.
I really wish i didn't bind my teamspeak key to the same one as my flashlight . Was really bad idea for scout.

Yea I know where the controls are.. lol I didn't notice my flashlight was on and was really surprised when FN ran me over, zomg hax. I don't know if I have weird settings, but I can't really see if my flashlight is on or off. Then Lawliet just shouts out me: "herbie, why did you have your flashlight on, omg" Then I'm like ooh and remember why I shouldn't have bound teamspeak to that button.
