university of waterloo? Ontario seems to be overrepresented in empires. Prob going to ottawa or carleton in sept and I went to WLU for undergrad
http://www.mediafire.com/?bdmtrdbp3vi6bim demo from first match. some good stuff in there. you can use it for a trailer or something
Rails weren't used. Huge turretspam and wallspam won the first round, added to us being totally mixed up because of people leaving and rejoining from our team, pretty much sealed our defeat within the first 2 minutes. Everything after that was just constant defending in hope of their comm being as stupid as their previous ones. Sadly, it turns out that Confuscious (whoever he is) is actually a fucking good commander, and hats off to him for putting his CV in the most un-rushable position for the vast majority of the first round. As for the 2nd round, BEAR was pretty kickass, and we never really got to research, although we were about 2 mins off Rail Heavys. But I mean, one thing I really, really noticed, was how hard it was to see BE on Canyon. I literally could not see the enemy at all the first round, their turrets and players blended in against the lower muddy texture on the cliffs so well, it was really difficult to pick people out, and cameras never survived more than 10 seconds. And likewise, the following round as BE, me and Con7Con literally walked past their players against the cliff, and they didn't even bat an eyelid. We were totally camouflaged against the wall, and we just dropped their rax without being even looked at. Just reinforces my position that canyon was nicer before it became a miserable rainy dark clusterfuck, as opposed to a happy, sunny clusterfuck.
meh ur gay map is the same, still easily the best empires map. qq its rainy and sad like john shandy's life (fuk u ur gonna post my 9th grade yearbook picture)
sheeeet son. better tell everyone at UW to stop downloading anime for like an hour and you'll be good
Gah, this is taking a while. The videos probably won't be up until tomorrow, but at least they'll look nice. In the future I'll try to find a compression setting that will make the file sizes smaller while still having things look reasonably good.
If we do it again I might try doing a delayed cast on justin tv or w/e then I think those websites have an option to save the video.
You could always try using DivX Plus Converter. Youtube supports .divx files since I've already uploaded one. The compression is all around good. You can combine multiple clips into one with it and you can also customize what kind of HD you want your video in. I did my video in 720p cause I was worried about my resolution. Try running it in 720p and full screen. Pretty easy to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UdoRh8Qqzo
