i love BSID and i havn't heard any kind of bad behavior for months. common, was it really necessary to piss them off?

 

No pic but:

emp_slaughtered, was in a NF light tank, rushed through the BE start base from the shore cliffs, heard the ML lock on thing 3 times, started shooting but driving straight, not looking where I was going, drove right up a wall, horizontally along it, and some how managed to not blow up.

Now, I ask you, how can a tank with wheels possibly drive along a cliff side? How does a tank with a standard engine out run 3 ML missiles?

THIS MAKES NO SENSE!

 

The physics engine doesn't focus on those kinds of relistic effects.

 

Yea, after looking at the pics of the flying vehicles, i realized that if your crazy enough, you can do anything with vehicles.

 

Is it? cause i'd really like being able to outrun missiles with the standard engine !

I researched comp armor + depleted uranium, then we spammed our uber apcs.

No one survived.

 

You get 3-4 people to go gren and place 8 mines each under a tank 4 * 8 = 32 mines. Here's a perspective on how powerful mines are, 8 mines placed inside an enemy rax with the ninth placed somewhere else does enough damage that a single mowtar shot will kill the rax if it had already taken any damage, or two if it was at full health.

32 mines has alot of explosive power. I'm still looking for a willing 8-man gren team...

 

i wonder if you could blast your APC over their defences into the heart of their base? that would be an awesome tactic :D

 

One time on emp_ovi_canyon I used mines to get an apc over the big hill in the middle instead of using the bridges.

 

I get tired of never having a clue when things will be out...Its nice to get a general "We think around X date" - usually most games do have that type of guideline, be it for patches or for a game release/expansion release, etc. I've come to expect a lack of this in mods though, not to say I enjoy or support it. How long has the Source Forts team been showcasing v2.0 features?

If the devs didn't want to answer the question, a simple "We're busy" or whatever would have been a bit more courteous, so be it BSID members, or any other person, I can understand, and to an extent, relate to their frustration with personal experience (not from the EMP dev team though, I've never asked when it'll be out to them. Every time I ask about it, a certain person whom I won't mention yells at me for being impatient....)

Actually, there was more roffle when Turbo was enabled on my server, all vehicles had Turbo.

 

I remember that. I turbo'd up a hill on duststorm, came down into another one, blew up, and then my dead jeep skidded into a tank making it explode.
