    Parachute exploiting is awesome. Never make chutes official. That would mean fixing surf-paraspeeding.

    That isn't really a consensus then is it?

    Also how many dev team members are there actually because I think you need at the very least five people to have any sort of worthwhile consensus.

    If you could only specify a single target that would be fine, it would mean you're still able to give high priority wallhacks but not spam them to give every player the location of every other player.

    Couldn't of said it better myself, if possibly we had a similar system where a squad would share enemy targets, if one squad memeber shoots an enemy then all his squad mates can see him as a target, so theirs a purpose to the scout rifle, instead of having the com give targets the scout could do it when he shoots enemies, and it only appears for his squad mates. Kills two birds with one stone.

    It's still not going to be removed. :3

    Right now I believe its in discussion to make it less annoying, but there is no discussion of outright removing it.

    I wouldn't mind it if it was implemented the way I talked about it (you make a thread on the idea credit me or els!) but currently getting those free wallhacks is like 1 2 3 and bam I can see everyone.

    The problem with giving targets is the act of giving them, not the fact people have them. If this were purely an FPS I'd be singing a different song, but...

    I have seen many complaints that center around "they have hax and I don't" and I have seen valid complaints regarding having them at all when in the context of an FPS game... however it's the RTS bleedover into the FPS game and that's what you get with a hybrid, bleedover.

    Finding ways to automate the commander targets as a suppliment are the basis for discussion currently. Taking away what is already available in any way is (at this time) not even being talked about on the dev side.

    The commander must (and thus will always) be able to describe targets onscreen, this is a function of User Interface. Without this ability targets would be manual by typing/voice which is simply inferior.

    No targety removey.

    Doesn't need removing per se, it just needs to operate in a different manner and without the need for the commander to repeat it, that's all.

    Although, i'm confused by the people who don't see it as reducing tactics, I guess they must not be the CSS noobs who learnt a little from that game.
