RC 15 Patch - Kamasutra Edition

    Prone has been added. This will allow you to try pleasureful new positions that you never thought possible. The selectable squad abilities aren't in this yet, but the generic squad leader aura is.

    Version 1.08 Beta Build 136/RC 15 Changes:

    -Added: sabotaged buildings now experience a health drain of 1 HP every 3 secs
    -Added: squad limit of no more than 5 players to a squad
    -Added: squad leader bonus aura of 50 feet; squad members within this aura will receive a bonus determined by the squad leaders class (scout = stamina recharge rate + 33%, rifleman = accuracy increase of 20%, grenadier = weapon damage increase of 10%, engineer = health recharge of 1HP/2secs)
    -Added: prone (+prone acts as a toggle; no firing while moving in prone; no moving while zoomed/in ironsights in prone)
    -Added: third person melee animations

    that's a pretty big update, I demand a PUG tomorrow to test it out

    Sticky! Also, all animations are missing and the trees on urbanchaos are glitching.

    Turrets cannot target prone soldiers. At least the NF L3 turrets can't.

    Sabotaged buildings drop to 50% right away, and then the rest gets eaten up dy DoT (damage over time). Not sure if it's intended this way, or if the drain was supposed to replace the initial 50% HP drop.

    Apparently urbanchaos was only borked for me, and it only happened once.:confused:

    If you downloaded before the time of this post, redownload RC 15 and install or fix the problem yourself with the following:

    move your /empires_108/player directory to /empires_108/models/player

    this is cool.. cant wait to try it out.. i have been a big fan of karmasutra for a long time :D

    I made the characters in my image. That's why they have dicks big enough to use as pogo sticks for prone+jumping.

    Prone for Empires??? I never thought I would even see this coming for the mod.

    Well all I can say that its about time prone is added. Now I can play this mod like DOD. ;)

    Crouchjump is no longer standard height? I can't reach up certain boxes anymore.

    Yeah, got the same problem ):
    Also, the aim while proning is the same as when standing.

    so does that mean buildings can actually be destroyed by scouts?

    I raised the height of the crouch bounding box because it looked like the head was out of it when crouching and walking. I can change it back if there are problems.
