You used to be able to touch a player and instantly kill him. I realized this wasn't good when I tried to un-heal an enemy tank and he bumped me at 2 mph and killed me.
I got the same invisible bug like described by SwampRat. I think i got a screenshot of it. If i find it i will add it in mantis (if not already done).
don't know if this is a bug, and if it was reported, but if you duck the NF CV goes right over you without doing any damage.
Not realy as you can crawl under the NF com when its standing still. Also has anyone else noticed it being unstable when starting to get lag? I noticed taht when ever it lags to much the game locks up. Dump prep wont even start when I try to exit if I can. If I cant taskmgr out pc restart is the only way to unfreeeze. It may be my system though thats why Im asking.
If you time it right you can hit "emp_unstuck" right when you are about to be runover and you survive
It really unbalances NF CV and BE CV that BE can run people over. If I feel like comming I almost always go BE for the smoosh factor.
Well perhaps the NF CV, being so much larger, could have more HP/armor to make up for this disadvantage?
NF CV should be like be a steamroller (slow, but very strong) and BE CV should be very agile and fast... That way the models would actually make sense :D
Than how would you be able to drive anymore? I suggest adding a metal grate infront of it so it can run over people, and the wheels should have some simple collisions.
The engine doesn't know its supposed to do anything unless hitboxes collide(hulls really but lets not get into details), so it amounts to the same thing.
