In the United States, we often distinguish between alcoholic apple cider and non-alcoholic apple cider. The alcoholic version is often called "hard cider" or "hard apple cider", while the non-alcoholic version is almost always just called "apple cider".
Apple cider is unfiltered and sometimes unpasteurized. Apple juice is always filtered and pasteurized.
God damn, that's fucking weird. Filtered apple juice is normally dirt cheap crap meant for lunch boxes while real apple juice is delicious. Cider is meh. Even the best cider is meh. It's just puke fuel for teenagers.

Hmmm, I grind up apples I get at a local farm. Makes good cider. Haven't tried to make it alcoholic though, not sure if I would really want to to be honest. I mean hard cider is one of the few alcoholic drinks I like, along with ginger beer and this really really nice vanilla rum. Actually even plain rum can be nice sometimes. but anyways I think the cider is great on its own and would receive no benefits by becoming alcoholic.
I only brush my teeth in the morning, and for a long time I used to drink 6-8 cans of coca cola a day, though I don't now. Either way, never needed a filling or anything. Shit's great.
