new server up

Well hi everyone i am just here to let people now [420] now has a Re-Direct server.

its not that big but oh well if you guys ever go to join and you find the main server full now we have this one, Maybe i will use it down the road as a newbie trainer server like they used it to have in 2.24 anyone know what i am talking about anyways just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Oh and guess what just last night we had a full server. Since when has HSM's house of rage or whatever other server you guys have, been full? Or even have more than 15 ppl?

I guess that's the BSID server but we've done fuckall to "promote it". The majority of the players I ever see on 420 are 420 members. And at least VIPER has:

-forums to report bullshit to
-owners who aren't total fuckasses and will actually respond to people instead of banning/ignoring them

It seems someone is dosing our servers, real unsportsmanlike like whoever it is.

 

Why the fuck would anyone DDoS a server that gets populated once every 2 weeks?

 

It also doesn't help that the BSID server lags so badly it breaks causality every time the player count rises above 20.

 

Sorry, but I tend to see the server get populated often even if it is 6 people with a few 420 guys. Wouldn't say once every 2 weeks.

 

the last bunch of nights I've been on it it was full to the top while viper had like 7 players. the 420 userbase probably is composed of american players, so obviously you probably don't see it full because it would be around 5:00 AM where you live. And it wasn't full of 420 too, the non-clanners and other clanners were the majority.

 

I'm sure it was full because today's empires players dont know a good server from a bad one.

@420 members..Bashing VIPER will not make your server better. Neither will having some 420 members come to VIPER and intentionally grief and poach players. I have discussed this with Saunders and he is just as against them doing this as I am.

I take offense to your competitve and negative posts against VIPER since I have never put down 420 server in any way, in fact when Saunders got his server I helped him set it up and showed him how to install plugins, met with his host to solve his server issues etc etc.
