New Map Pack - Are you releasing a new map soon?

I'm working on a modification of escort that I could probably get out tonight.

 

There should be a clip brush that runs all along the map at 512 units up, preventing anyone from getting on any roof. If you're saying that people are able to get into the hills and through the skybox and stuff, that is something I haven't addressed.

 

Mine is better and I can say that without looking.

Also Solokiller is doing 'work' on escort and no one can touch escort due to that.

scardy's version doesnt involve any brush work its simply a test to try a new way of going about the tickets.

 

I got permission from Solokiller to do some simple changes, mostly exploit/bug fixes. The only big changes I am working on is making it so that BE flag caps give tickets, restricting some useless tech (such as plasma and rail guns), and replacing the radar with a repair station.

Its really just a quick fix until Solokiller gets finished with it.

I can't access random pages on the empires forums at school because it blocks it due to something pornographic (yes it's fucked up). So I figured it could be someone's sig, so I found 2 pages I couldn't access, cross-referenced them to find the culprit, AND IT IS YOU KEEF.

Also I liked Cyber-Kun's version. It was hideously imbalanced towards BE and I love that, as NF. Except he didn't do much on the first flag, which is where it matters.

Anyways, sure, release and I'll add.

Issues so far purely off that description:

VF probably won't respawn if sabbed to death still, I think it just needs replacing.

4th flag is hard enough to hold as NF, you made it harder D:

Fixed 2nd and 5th flag ladders? I don't follow.

You can still probably get offmap at 3rd flag with infantry stacking + turret boosting.

 

I can't fix the VF sab problem, but I did make a workaround. I put a infantry restrict brush around the VF so that a NF scout can't get close enough to sab it. Its not a great solution, but it will make escort playable until the bug is fixed.

I don't think it will be a problem. I added BE infantry restrict brushes so they can't actually enter the NF spawn. This is more for consistency, since pretty much every other NF spawn point has a ladder to get back to it.

For some reason they weren't compiling right. I basically just replaced them and it turned out fine.

I believe there are clip brushes there preventing that. Also, I don't think I've ever seen this exploit.

 

How do infantry get into the vf?

delta isnt going to be updated, as the delta vmf some how kills hammer with fire.

Hey now, the only reason I stopped was Mootant being a jerk and told me to stop working. The version it got stuck on due to me being unable to work on the map. The version was only meant to be tested for about a few days.

emp_smokies was one of my favorites back in 2.12. It wasn't flat.

 

Waiting on insurrection, fixing break, temple and ward.
I think that's basically it, and we're ready to release. I wouldn't mind the small map from Varbles though. And I don't know how many maps MetalSmith wants to give me. On top of this, I need to know about what we're gonna do with Streets of fire.

 

You going to put my map in the pack with or without cfg?
