They (the dev team, and maybe it helps if fans nag about it too) should get in contact with game magazines and larger gaming sites. This release is solid enough for that kind of publicity, especially if the attention is focused on Empires strong points (no, not the graphics or the voice acting, but the awesome gameplay and how unique it is). Millions upon millions of people can play HL2 mods. If 1 % decides to play Empires during the following months, that would be huge.

The graphic for the game is great just not enough detail and this is the only mod i can think of that has voice acting

I can forgive the poor detailing (and I have; I've been playing this thing for well over a year :D)

Since it has huge player placed buildings, huge battlefields and Tanks... Comparing the size and scope of everything to a counterstrike map for example... I can forgive everything; since a normal CS map is roughly 4 by 4 Vehicle Factories :p

I think though we'd all love to see more detail if it's possible.

Or if you code a program to vote for Eternal Silence once every 20 seconds.

I'm afraid I'm gunna need twenty-thousand US dollars in unmarked, used bank notes by friday. It would be such a shame if a program like that was 'accidently' allowed to run.

I was surprised when I heard about this mod from a guildmate and went to Steam to look for it and saw no mention. Google? I have to use Google to find an awesome HL2 mod? What kinda ghetto BS is that? I don't see why Valve wouldn't pass along a little free advertising. It's good for them, too.

They posted a Steam update a week before the release occured, they screwed up. They were happy that they released something early though.

At the very least we could be a featured mod on their download page.

How often can you vote when not logged on? Is there any captcha?

They must track the IPs, because I don't even have an account there and I could only vote once from my home PC. At my university I could vote a second time.

So next time you're fixing your uncle's computer, or your neighbor has an unsecured WLAN, you know what you have to do.

If someone here wants to write a dial/vote/redial/vote bot for my Linux box, go ahead.

Guest votes only matter if there is a tie, and given the size of the competition, I don't think it will matter much.
