You're going to want to read this. In short, a demo captures the actions that players take instead of actual footage, so you can play it back from multiple angles and actually record off the demo instead of in-game. So, for example, you could make a demo, make multiple different recordings of the game from different perspectives at whatever quality and recording settings you want, then give a copy of the demo file to another person who can then do the same thing at the quality and settings he wants to do it at.
umm Iam getting 2,7 GB/minute But Iam also recording 3 different streams of audio 1. IEEE Float 32bit 96000Hz 5.1 surround Sony vegas doesnt support 32bit so I have to convert it (thats why I also record basic stereo 3.), I would really like to use 5.1 and there is no other way in dxtory. It doesnt seem to cost me any performance at all. 2. (microphone) PCM 48000Hz 16 bit stereo 3. PCM 48000Hz 24bit stereo (24 bit is probably completely not necessary) Iam still pretty much only experimenting with the audio, so dont ask for reasons, but tips are appreciated. Iam gonna upload a sample but also render it with vegas with my preffered render settings of course. are u sure that u record 100mb/minute with that settings? in dxtory? with lagarith loseless codec? EDIT: (or I probably misunderstood a bit and u are using different settings) EDIT2: Actually just found out that youtube doesnt support 5.1 so I will probably not be using it (atleast for youtube vids) and yeah its a LOT of converting when doing small shots. But I still wonder how some videos have really nice clear and kinda surround sound... (very few of them) Iam still gonna do the sample in 5.1 and see, because flash recently added support for 5.1 but that still doesnt mean that it will work on youtube.
Aww geez Teef - I hope your toss is not as queer as that video. Use full wrist on your throw - thlammer. First minute of this is appropriate: Video
I'm not using that codec. I have on-the-fly compression that adds a shit tonne of load to my CPU. But it is in Dxtory. I haven't used it for months and it was on my laptop, but I'll try to dig it out for you. I want to make it really clear that the quality will not be as good as you get it. I think I might have been recording in 720p as well.
Here is the promised sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EkvyMVl2Ek watch in original quality fuck the surround btw, lol doesnt seem to work
lol that's footage of me derping at an enemy heavy. Also I can see the difference between having HDR enabled and disabled now. Will keep it disabled in future, the skybox almost glows with it enabled.
AZK you're likely to get 40+ people. I don't know if last weekend was planned or spontaneous but I was home Sunday and a butt load of people showed up to play. It was a bunch of fun. Cya Saturday.
