    Also server owners may need to be more stict.

    Edit: Nm a lot of vets are admins and stack themselves.

    Hmm... how about a server plugin that does team scramble on vote, but leaves alone anyone with commander votes?

    You could make the threshold for the vote equal to one team's worth - not half the server, since up to 13 people can be speccing.

    Mass rage quit & bitch about it from spec, or suck it up and try and take a few scalps on your way down.

    There is no solution, best you can hope for is to call people out and encourage people not to do it. If clans have any control over their members (I dunno?) then they can maybe influence them a bit, other than that it is just up to people not to be complete assholes.

    its not that stackers that are the assholes.

    it's the people who don't want to cooperate or do teamplay that are the assholes;
    they are the ones that make stacked games

    In a niche mod such as Empires, stacking is simply an inconvenient truth. If there were 100's (I'm not even talking 1000's...) of servers and 10/20/30/40/50k etc. players the stats might average out but such as the mod is now it really is up to the idividual players to balance it out them selves.

    Everyone stacks, it's fact of the mod. Personally even I do some times on maps I hate or when I see a lopsided game already in progress and know it's over. Most of the time I try to gather intel on a match and see what side is the underdog and join them and pad out the game. Encouraging people to do that is really the only thing I can think of other than Admin's taking a direct role and dictating teams, in which case that creates problems of its own.
