Varbles... no offense but last round you trolled everyone into oblivion for apparently no reason... And that's from a spectator perspective and knowing who the infiltrators were.
complete_: the chances of killing an infiltrator in this first day are little, and they can influence the vote too. Votekilling someone doesnt even give us a clue either.
I have a problem with abstaining, the same problem Mcgyver pointed out (them abstained to save himself from suspicion). Abstianing never was part of the original game, and it isn't any fun XD. Also, as _complete pointed out, voting creates discussion which weeds out the infiltrators. Just like how I figured out the infiltrators last round. Abstaining is... bland <<
the only times we were able to kill infiltrators were when we were few in numbers, and votekilling the most suspicious people is the best way to get there
We have pretty much no clues to go on now, other than who is voting and who is abstaining. How can you call someone suspicious at this point? Cpatton: DERP I WAS AN INFILTRATOR FIRST ROUND I MUST BE ONE NOW
Lol Varbles, I have no idea why you would describe your own circumstances and then put my name on it.
I'd say someone who starts accusing people of being infiltrators based on nonexistent clues in Empty's post and calls for killing the one guy who wants to organize is is pretty suspicious.
The votes were tallied, and the base came to the conclusion that murder wasn't acceptable. Metal Smith pulled out his sidearm "You're all nuts, if we don't kill them now, we'll all die. And I bet Melarion is leading them!" He pointed his pistol towards Melarion. Melarion stood there, rock steady. Kane stood in front of the potential trajectory. "Then kill me too." "And me.", aaaaaa50 stepped forward. Sandbag stepped forward too. The rest of the abstainers formed a wall in front of Melarion. "There'll be no killing today. We'll investigate what's happening. Wanton murder is madness, there's no evidence that anyone else even killed Blizzerd and the CO." Varbles stated. Metal Smiths aim wavered, and he lowered his pistol. "Fine." Melarion 3 Abstain 9 Mageknight 1 Metal Smith 2 Varbles 1 As you can see, we didnt get a majority of the base Abstaining, but only 16 people voted. It was a tough decision, but Blizzerd and I agreed that this would pass as an Abstain. The light's flickered. "We have one last issue, the backup generators will die in about 12 hours now. I'm assigning everyone two torches, flood lights will be set up around the main meeting areas. Watch your backs." Scardy stated quietly. The base's crew spread apart from eachother. Some slept, thinking the others mad, one investigated his own lead. Others yet, polished pistols and prepared for the night's work. Not that anyone can tell when night begins anymore. Night has begun
The trouble with voting is that, as seen in the early game the last two rounds, it's the fast route to high suspicion. It's an easy way for a base crew to get mobbed as an infiltrator just because he made a bad decision early on.
Guys can you please follow my plan, we need to get a good information network up and running or else the infils will pick us off easily. My main refutation toward Metal's assertions is that is is stupidly risky to let myself be scouted by multiple scouts, we only have one publicly available case of an infil getting scouted and getting away with it and since then Bliz has joined the GM team. Also the initial post makes it clear that a scout can tell someone's role, meaning that I would have to be an idiot to risk it. The reason that I am pushing so hard for this is that it is vitally important for us to have a network in place, if it all goes to plan I promise to next turn bring Metal into the scout information network and share the info with him along with any other base crew. This wouldn't be me running the show, this would be a group of people who have all been confirmed to be brenodi working together and I have no doubt that metal will be welcome to join it.
"One investigated his own lead." Is this a clue that their is only one scout? Perhaps one of the scouts has received a secret special clue, and this refers to that?
