According to his story the planet has eternal day. But just because the planet has eternal day doesn't mean the moon does too. We're on the moon.
No the error of the story would be that it is impossible (or at least very very [...] very unlikely) for multiple stars to create an eternal day cycle as the only case of multiple stars in a solar system is them rotating very close to a center point of the solar system.

I think the infils are quite smart and trying to steer us to a certain person, vulcanstorm with atleast 2 key speakers, whilst the third either picks someone else or is a silent person

 

Not wanting to incriminate myself further but I hear ya, its such a 'blatant clue' its either vulcanstorm or me, but you will find out soon enough if its just Devo being an idiot at clues or if we got vulcan pinned down.
