Infantry Weapon Names

    Why doesn't this poll have a "no preference" option. I wouldn't mind having some unique names, but then again, I like the convenience of smg1 or rifle2.

    I'd say SMG 1 is a better name than Viper 9000 or whatever names we can slap onto it.

    This would be a good idea, but only if the NF SMG2 is called the Hairdryer and the HMG is called the Sniper Rifle

    Ingame the slang I've seen is.

    SMG1 - Both
    Hairdryer - NF SMG2
    SMG2 - BE SMG2
    Pistol - Pistol1
    Heavy Pistol - Pistol2
    Shotty - Shotgun Pistol
    Assault Rifle, Rifle, Rifle1 - Both Rifle1s
    Bear - BEAR, sometimes
    BEHR and NFHR never get used enough to have a slang name.
    Cookie of Joy - Mine
    Sniper Rifle - Scout rifle
    Seismic - Seismic Grenades
    Smoke - Smoke Grenades
    Sticky - Sticky Bomb

    I could go on.

    The thing is, I'm quite happy with the names as they are, they're easy to remember, the same for both sides, and I find it nice not to have to call it the M249 or xm1084.

    Keep the names.
