There was talk about a small crane like structure used for field repairs. Engineers repair ability for tanks would be limited then and the use of this structure needed to fully repair tanks
More RPG ammo. Better mortar range and splash. Doesn't feel like i'm shooting exposives with it at all. Some weapon variations, just as the Rifleman or the Engi has. Fix Pistol1, it feels very useless. Other than that, people tend to think that Engis are the answer to all problems, never trying anything else. Riflemen are next in popularity, since they are so easy to score kills with. I think it's the allroundness of the Engis that makes people chose them over grens or other classes.
How about: Double (triple?) starting ammo for RPG. Slightly increase max ammo for RPG (it just doesn't last!) Make the RPG researches cheaper/faster to increase their appeal? I mean, who would rather get RPG than UML? The only viable situation is when you can't afford MKII/med (then why are you wasting res on this?) or when your VF dies and you can't build another (in which case your radar is probably next on the chopping block/see lack of res above). And then assuming you already have UML, why not go for HE or heavy or arty or or or rjandakdlnajwnelanwejkanekwpenis. A research alongside/built into Guided Missiles allow you to guide the rpg at much higher maneuverability (2 stages to match the UML one?) Maybe even a bio warhead upgrade for RPG? I mean, it can't be that different to the warheads used by tanks, even if gren RPG is smaller scale (which it doesn't really seem to be...) Also, turning the mortar into a "proper" mortar (high angle, blah blah blah) is retarded because lolskybox. Maybe after aircraft, sure.
Just change the gren model to a female and it's sure to rise in popularity But yeah, the more ammo suggestion is a step in the right direction.
yeah thats a good point about the skyboxes, I sometimes shoot straight up (more or less) when the enemy is too close and im hiding waiting for a medic, but it feels totally lame when the mortar disappears into the skybox. this bugs the hell outta me on escort and district especially (of course). its not hard to shoot up and have the shell land 10-15 feet in front of you, if you practice a bit

One class shouldn't be one gender...we need female skins for every class. I don't want to be forced into a player skin I don't want...and it's like that for most source games for women, which sucks really. No choice is pants...and not in a good frilly way.
It's inherent biology. Testosterone in men generally leads to greater muscle mass. Of course, with biological modification it wouldn't matter, but then you'd have women with the same proportions as men and... Hair.

Nano and biotech enchancements in BE and NF could take care of all sexual dimorphism, or only the one that affects actual combat. Sure, let's make female skins. Or fucking different skins for all classes first, that is a bigger priority! Yeah, sure a choice betwee "male" and "female" skin should be availiable somewhere in the Options panel. Make the Grenadier weapons better, first and foremost! 3 RPG shots per spawn is too little. Add more of those! Also more damage! People playing Grenadier feel that their efforts in killing tanks are fruitless and unrewarding. More explosions! More Blasting! More weapon choices!
And why wouldn't it? The two rails used by a normal locomotive are simply for balance, which could be achieved by other means.
I fired all my starting gren ammo at a plain afv and it didnt die. I think gren rpg/mortar needs a serious anti vehicle damage buff. In 2.12 everything felt ok you had a decent chance to kill tanks as grenadier but now its impossible. You have to give the grenadier a real chance to kill tanks because nobody wants to play a class that isnt able to kill/do stuff on its own.
I had 1 plate on 2 sides, both at yellow, no armour on the other sides and was at 10%.... But I do agree they do still need a buff.
It's not anything new, is it? It will always need a buff...as far as I can remember grens haven't ever been overpowered against vehicles..at least, not by a change to the gren. Changes to armour mebbe. Also, I heard a carrot on a stick works wonders
