Fish and Chip shops in Australia? I thought we were the only country that really had them, given we live on it.

You can probably measure some but there aren't scales large enough for mine. I'm just that awesome.

 

We're derailing a perfectly good thread.

 

Australia is full of ex-cockneys and the only habitable land on the entire continent is on the coast.

How could they possibly not have fish and chip shops?

 

When you say "Fish and Chip Shop", I think "Bait and Tackle Shop".

pfft, every single non-franchise restaurant in Canada serves fish and chips, heritage man.

Is that like how every American Restaurant will serve stuff like hot dogs (lower end), hamburgers, and steak (higher end) even if they are a seafood place or a breakfast joint?

 

That all depends on your defition of awesome.

FYI- This is actually a famous artwork by Marina Abramović. It was actually kinda difficult to find. I can't say I've had to look for it in quite a while, lol.

 

We have fish and chip shops because if you can't eat grilled flake and steamed dim sims when you damn please then you're not living in a democracy.

Well, technically the entire land is habitable, but us white folks aren't badass enough to live further than 50km from the coastline.
