it sucks to drive the NF jeeps, possible, but annoying. It still feels like we're standing up in it, instead of sitting. Was only the model changed?
Your eye position was raised so that you could shoot out without hitting the jeep. It could be lower, but then you couldn't shoot out.
Can't we just change the model? Move the bars back so they're only to your sides/behind you, or something.
The bars don't bothers me either, you can afford small mistakes with a vehicle that fast, and usually I know where to drive and how to get there, most obstacles are big enough to see despite the bars. I think you people should be glad not to be looking out of a tank from the inside, then you only had this little square to look out of, a la Battlefield 2. The jeep's a minor thing compared to that.
This sounds slightly paradoxical to me; the faster you go, the less leeway for mistakes. Yeah, having ebola is so much better than cancer and AIDS at the same time.
Actually, yes, Ebola is alot of suffering in a short timespan, cancer and AIDS at the same time is minor to extreme suffering building up over time. I'd rather be dead in two days than suffer for years.
Ebola is a horrific disease, but ultimately a very ineffective one. It kills must faster than it can spread. But the analogy was poor in the first place. It would have been much more effective to have simply said that saying that the jeep isn't as problematic as something else doesn't make it not problematic.
Isn't that just the wheels? It's stupid that I have to "learn" to cope with something blocking most of my vision in a game. While we're on the topic, several of the BE weapons irritate me; the scout rifle and that one smg are so much smaller on the NF side it actually affects my playing quality. The BE rocket launcher is also huge and annoying, what with blocking off bits in the center of the screen rather than just the side like every other weapon. Good thing I'm much better as an engi anyway.
Vehicles are still server-side so your ping * 2 is the time it takes for you to send a command before you start seeing the results. A ping of 200 ms = 400 ms before you see your vehicle start steering.
