No-one had posted up this up (i dont think) so i've done it.

The Match is Saturday 12.8 - GMT 200 (The GMT is M00tant's time so ask him about it)

As far as i know it is two matches of 7 vs 7. Which map(s) and sides would really be welcome :D

Give me some server info and make sure you get someone recording a demo for some PR.

GK server has 24 slots - so 10 slots left (minus reserves)

 

What a shame.

 

You should have 8 players per team (one in spec as a backup if someone drops) and like 4-6 ppl recording demos and taking screens.

Don't give out the password to everyone, it just gets too many people in the server that dont need to be. Ill let PHL know, and they will post the demos and screens on monday.

I recorded the full match between [BSID] and =GK=. So if you want I can record a demo of the match, and host it as well. But I still have no idea what time it is... (Your time posting is confusing me) I live in mid US so I'm on Central time. If you can tell me the time in any US time zone I can translate it.

 

central time its at 20pm. I want katana to film it along with me. I have a slot and katana made some awesome demos we can actually use.

 

Ah wonderful. That time is perfect for me. I'm glad you liked my demos, personally I thought I could do better. Anyway this match looks to much more balanced. I'm sure it will be a very good match.

 

I don't understand why you don't have more slots. Spectators don't tax the server like regular players unless you're bandwidth limited.

 

About spectator slot: atm looks like we have 8 (24-16). That's enough to hold some devs + demo recorders.

Not sure about GK but we were using this:
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ for GMT time. Windows clock when set to GMT timezone will have time 1 hour ahead (GMT +1). It's because of daylight saving.

hmm, no were not bandwidth limited, last time i checked our server host was on a 100mb net connection,
same server but im gonna restart it after each map
(last one hadnt been restarted in over a week before our last match and i honestly didnt think it would make a difference)

 

Good luck to both sides. I just wish there were more speccy slots open for us non-recorders. Can't you use HLTV? I saw one of those with 128 slots.
