Does anyone else suspect Andariel of being a troll, he mentions scouting in every post in every thread, I think he's trying to incite violence.

Fission has the perfect speed for tactic moves... like fastest acceleration ingame
Dont accelerate if you turn with 3phase, no magic just like in real life dont
try to get faster in curves -.-

but fission cant get you out if your overheated like bio-diesel can. since we are still talking in terms of early game ( well at least i am) hit and run tactics are in high use there. with a bio-diesel you can shoot more than your opponent and then still get out and hit them again once you are lower on heat. and when you arc over enemy walls using a hill the ability to go back over while overheated is always nice.

    Scouts suck.

Bio-diesel is way too damn overrated.

Listening to your commander always makes you lose.

Other classes can always do it better than the scout.

Useless. No class can be more useless than the scout.

Not true! A grenadier or rifleman with no ammoz is more useless than the scout.

There, see? The scout fails even at failing.

    OOO OOO I GOT ONE!

Hide + Weapon silencer (more for fun then anything) and you hide in a corner as NF in tunnel areas or against boxes on escort, and jump their infantry!

Patience makes it fun because most people seem to expect you to open up, but I often find the best results occur if you wait about 10 seconds and let them pass, then start shooting.

Thats how I always play a scout on those maps though, ambush people and what have you. Otherwise I sneaks around and say "I AM SUPER SNEAKY" and then die a horrible death because an engi stepped on me and thought it would be worth the lols to pistol whip me.

scout is one of the most versatile and useful classes in a vehicle rush (1 full apc for example)

someone drive an apc in the base,
    scouts spawn in enemy base,
start disabling everything + killing everyone with hide combos
1 light tank could finish the enemy com

    ???

    profit

most effective rush strategy in the game, even if it does not succeed as long as the scouts get in the base all hell breaks loose for the enemy team and they'll have to do damage control for the next 5 minutes
