No offense intended, but a few parts of that made no sense...

Care to explain which part? That made perfect sense...

I will be happy to deconstruct any part that seems to confuse you...

I figured out the other bit a few minutes later, but the quoted part still confuses me.

It fries all electrical compenents... It is not temporary, as the actual circuits are fried; the only way to restore the said thing back, is to replace the entire curcuit board...

So it is not temporary, but quite perminant...

What Shinzon is trying to say is that damage doen to a circit board by an EMP is not fix able. Think of it like this. Picture trying to fix a motherboard that has been hit by lightning...

so what the post is saying, killx, is that it is folly to call something after something else that already exists.

you wouldn't call your new species of frog; "Cannabis".

If you want to get tecnical...

The emp field induces a current in the curcut that overloads it, melting metal and burning silicon, the end result: a pile of silicon-copper and fused wires. Usless even for a calc equiped engy.

You are all retarded. Thoes turrets are emp shielded but, the powerlines leading into them are not. Thats why you only have to change the fuses. :p

I don't know if detonating emp_recruits would overload circuits....... But hey, I'm willing to test.

No one ever stated that the turrets are EMP shielded. And if the power lines leading to them are not, fuses would do nothing. If anything, the powerlines would turn into a very expensive cable.

Neither. Hes being a dick and calling us retards because we were not basing the EMP effect on turrets around turrets with EMP shielding, like he thinks we should.

    *yawn*
