No it never got past the concept stage. I was a more mobile form of the Schwerer Gustav. The pic of the shell I posted was an actual shell from the Schwerer Gustav. The problem with the Schwerer was it needed to be on a rail car as there was no other chases big enough to hold the cannon. But even the Germans where able to realise even they could good enough to build one to be very reliable. If that could have been fixed and with secondary weapons for AA and Inf. added... Hey, I had an idea for an unconventional tech that might be useful in Empires. It's essentially the M.A.D. tank from Red Alert. When you fire the gun, it begins charging, and 10 seconds later the tank is destroyed (hopefully you've left by now), damaging all structures (and possibly vehicles) nearby. It would essentially allow turret-farm busting from around corners, also if you could sneak one into an enemy base you could do massive damage. It would obviously have to be expensive, and it could be nerfed easily if it were too powerful, but the main question is: Would people actually use it?
The only problem I can see is that turrent farms are always mixed. So by the time you got the tank into posistion and deployed its getting shot to ribbins...
Turrets are useless defensively, but a very good way of securing lines at the front, and taking down bases

EMP Bombs. Only works on turrets, and totally fires the circuitry. Of course, an engineer could fix the circuits, but it would be something to drop before a raid. Maybe make it so that EMP shielding could be researched, and would lower the chances of the EMP frying turrets.

So what your asking for is an EMP Grenade on steroids. Actualy one would be usefull for the APC or AFV...
