And the playerbase will stay small without something like this. Its frustrating to have to play 5 matches just to get a quality one.
The PUG used the G4TC EU Empires server, and when it started, the server was emptied by kicking. Part of the problem with PUGs is that they require 30+ skilled players to show, this system doesn't. If the ESGs regularly fill the entire server, we'll setup a separate one. It's all done by Steam ID, since PWs can create problems. The ESG will never be "public", since that defeats the purpose of it.
Well, if there are extra slots, you can still show up. You'll just get kicked if a "vet" player in the group wants to join the full server.
Anyone can join the server during an ESG, but group members have priority, and if they need a slot (assuming the server is full), someone who isn't in the group will be kicked to make room. EDIT: Exactly Mageknight.
What, so we want to play one game every 2 weeks that has people that are actually know how to get ammoz? People are sick of fail comms, armorless tanks, sniper scouts and tank stealers. The thing about being elite is a joke anyway, basically anyone that knows about it and wants in is going to get an invite.
The idea is that we get a good playerbase of people who know how to spawn. I'm really sick of playing games with morons in it.
This whole Empires Synergy idea died, didn't it? It needs to come back, because there has been a flood of n00bs hogging all the player spots on the good servers. Also, as of late, every game of Empires I have played has had 8+ n00bs per team, which is very frustrating as they tend to run around like chickens with their heads cut off.
I find it funny its being called synergy, since empires followed synergy in quality. Before OB, Syn and empires great. After OB, *Urrrrk*
