Empires Synergy Games are organized dates and times, during which all skilled players will have reserved slot access to the G4TC US Empires server (aka VIPER), which will allow the server to fill with skilled players (similar to a PUG). Players who wish to participate need to obtain an invitation to this Steam group from a group officer (they are responsible for inviting all skilled players). Sry for asking, but what is your point in doing that? And why does is sound to me like you call the majory of players "unskilled" ? Because they are? Lol thats a way to piss ppl off who played empires long but arent "good enought" ...:p
It seems to me you either weren't around during the weekly pugs, or that you have forgotten all about it. I'll be extremely happy to have good games again. I haven't played a real match in over a year. Question: Seeing as there are so many american and european players, at with times would games be held? The weekly friday evening pugs lasted for 5-8 hours, so that european players would start playing at 10 pm, and go to bed at 1 am, while american players would start coming home from work by that time and join in on the fun. It didn't really overlap on a friday, except for those americans that worked early shifts if they started playing immediately after they came home, or for europeans who decided they did not need sleep every night. If it only lasts for about 2 hours however and you want both continents to participate, only a saturday would work really... So, how are you guys planning to do this ?
I loved the pugs, yes but they were organized, now its not closed for public but better players get access first, making these who get kicked to make room sad, maybe im horrible wrong, then forget what i wrote ove: @pickled hero: lol troll
It would probably be easier to set aside a full day instead of trying to find one time that works for everyone.
I'm in the US, so I'm planning to hold it in the evening, GMT -8. UPDATE If you want an invite, ask an officer who you know. I will continue to add more officers as the group fills. Officers may begin sending out invites to players who they think might be interested in participating.
Evening, 6-8pm... +18... 12pm-2pm. I can make it easy on weekends. None of those people will vouch for me to be an officer. Just give it to me out of principle for being awesome n shit bro.
The technical side of the ESG is progressing nicely. I think we'll be able to schedule an ESG for next Saturday.
Any chance of some of your officers organizing ESG for european timezones as well ? I'd hate to miss this opportunity.
