Server is yet to be determined.

Map will be Insurrection, but this is entirely dependent on me speaking to both Cyberkiller and Vicki to make sure the map still works fine so we don't have a repeat of what happened on Forest & King.

Those who have not participated in the league before and are looking at this thread on game night, this is the thread relevant to you:

Insurrection is a great map that is rarely played because of how many people it takes to play.

Really looking forward to this. If what you said three weeks ago was right, this is probably the last game. Thanks for the work you put into the league, it's been a great time in spite of the bullshit and drama.

It's not actually anything to do with that, which is a problem because it means that's an issue that still might potentially come up. It annoys me more because it's bullshit anyway, the oil price is entirely irrelevant, but they use it as an excuse for delaying contracts.

I should not play more often, Quebec seems to do pretty well with less polaks.

The map had so many tickets and resources, there wasn't really a need to conserve either. Hence wacky tactics without regard for losses or holding refs.

good job xray. a guy had no clue what the password was and couldnt play because of that. maybe you should tell people the password in your group and you might be able to work better as a team

I asked for the password in TS3 because who reads steam group anyway.

I don't get it, the only people who would look there are the people who signed up and we want to join in the scrim anyway. So why wouldn't we use the steam groups for this? I'm not going to message each person individually that would be dumb and a pain in the ass.

Security is a bit right though, I had a couple of people ask what password was even after the announcement.

Well we still had randoms joining who weren't assigned to either team so they're getting the password somehow. I have no problem with randoms getting involved but if they're just joining and not actually assigned to a team, not in the teamspeak, etc then it causes a lot of problems.

Uploading the games anyway. First rounds was pretty good and I'm kind of sad Xray let it go. I totally missed what happened so I guess I can only see from the minimap. Second game was a lot more textbook, but pretty great either way, a good bit of territory change throughout the game.

Fairly sure that it's time to call the league a day now. Interest seems to have died off and to be honest it lasted longer than I expected regardless. I hope everyone had fun at some point during the games and I'd like to think that people improved their play through competing. Thanks for playing.

Yeah, it would have been a lot less standard, and probably ended faster, if me and senor didn't go off and secure the mid and west in the early game.

Sure the plan sounded neat and fun, but all I really wanted to do was take down some buildings and build some up. It felt so... satisfying I guess is the word? A certain zen feeling to it, very nice.

And thus I missed out on over half the scrims. Thank you for putting in the effort, it sure was great to play in such conditions.
