1.50 or 1.9 look good to me. 1.9 suggests closeness to blimbs. May I suggest, after the first couple days of blitz/release, "leaking" (not really, lol) some of those spiffy NF aircraft screenshots, but with some kind of red stamp saying "unfinished" or "prototype" across the picture? This will let people know that blimbs are, indeed, planned. Of course, posting it up on the front page of the website wouldn't hurt, either. Might keep some people tuned in. And I'm still of the opinion that 2.0 is a bad idea. A very bad idea.
I see the elephant and i agree with him :D This version IS 1.8 - we just call it 1.08 so far which is actually the same.
No, because no matter how many 0s you add before the first digit the number doesnt change and also 1.8 is something different than 1.80. You have to understand that the '.' in version numbers is no decimal point but just a seperator creating a pattern like "major version"."minor version"."patch".
i still vote 2.0 ... with all my heart! we need people to see that this is completely different from the old one- not just a delayed patch (as anyone who installed up to 1.05 and stopped will think) the fact that this doesn't have aircraft is so trivial! aircraft can be 3.0 a graphical overhaul alone would earn this a new version. we can't afford to loose one player because we were too strict with our naming
Yeah, 1.08 as it is feels and plays so differently than even 1.07 that I think it deserves the 2.0 moniker. Or at least 1.8.
Bitchslap & Lithium, maybe you can mention that the release of 1.08/1.1/1.5/1.8/2.0 or whatever corresponds with the first season of the Empires League --> http://league.empiresmod.com A lot of people have expressed interest in the new season game-style and I think it might attract clans. 1.5 might get over looked. Regardless of what WE know that 1.7 is actually 1.07 right? 1.71 is actually 1.071? See how I'm still confused? Yes yes I'm just an idiot I realize this. I thought for the longest time that it was 1.7 so pretend if I being absent from the community saw anything less than 1.71 aka 1.5 I'd fear to think that they'd think... "this link is jacked it just sent me to the outdated version" albeit it would be a microcosom of natural selection...prolly wouldn't want someone who can't count/think in your squad handling a 1000 res tank anyhow.
