Empires 1.07 and Blimps

    are you being serious don? I was under the impression that you were joking. Youre actually going to add blimps?

    ........Will they suck as much as they sucked in WW2?

    ...lol...

    Not impressive man. Infact im kinda worried about lag factor. Maybe I should stop playing Empires again after the next patch.... -sigh-

    Edit: Actually lately Ive been thinking of burning my HL2 cd altogether. Valve's days seem numbered.

    Uhh, a good one? How about bombers and airplanes? Blimps are huge, slow and useless. Mark my words. All it is is something nice for newbies to drive instead of jumping in the comm cuz its the 1st thing they see lol

    I can see blimps being very effectively used in Empires. HL2 sized maps can't support anything very fast. Even a fast jeep can go across any of the current maps in less then a minute. A fighter jet at 500mph would be across the map before he knew it. Blimps and some kind of helicopters are the obvious choices for this game.

    Oooooo.. can we have helium blimps????

    Maybe seperate compartment gas chambers so if you pop a part, it won't blow up all at once?

    Foot thick armour around all the blimps? They might be able to hop along before crashing back down to earth??

    Back on topic fellas, I dont want to have to start a new .7 thread.

    Make some practical sugestions for .7, maybe small features that can be coded quickly while Krenzo works on the aircraft, or small art additions we can pump out.

    accuracy upgrade decreases the spin and increases the turnability of the grenadier rocket.

    Target selecting done through spawn menu so artillery can use it.

    Remove knockback from gunfire.

    Decrease recoil of NF AR to be in line with BE rifle.

    Decrease spread per shot for NF heavy rifle

    Remove or decrease vertical recoil of tank cannons.

    Adjust weight limits ONLY to prevent people filling weapon slots with mutiple weapons of the same kind.

    Failing that, reduce the heavy tank limitations to make them worth buying.

    Reduce the range at which the scout rifle can one shot kill (i'd prefer it being removed completely)

    I feel like the brenodi empires jeep spins out too easily
    Also would be nice to have a third person view to both jeeps.

    heres a couple:

    -Make unbuilt buildings transparent (but with a collisions in).

    -If a buildings being attacked, have it flash red on radar.

    -Put a commander light on the top of the screen. If theres no commander, it should be red; if there is green; and if the comm is being attacked, it should flash another color (i don't care which).

    -Fix the repair pads. For some reason they never work perfectly for me.

    -Make the walls a little higher.

    -A built in mapvote command or option would be very nice.
