Wooooeeee... It really does look and feel nicer. Is there some change to the elevation at the neck of the S-Bend where the BE barracks usually goes or is it just an optical illusion. Feels different when fighting up hill.
The little slope thing in the s-bend seems to drag fights out longer. It blocks visibility standing, it should be at chest level or something so that no one can hide behind it unless crouching.
Perhaps im the only this happens too but, this new map has black lines on all the sand and dirt parts ONLY. All other surfaces are fine.
there is only one set of rock_cluster props with decent hitboxes. there also is a lack of large rock props with decent hitboxes. a good tip, turn their visibility on in this model browser thing ...
I didn't realize they sucked so bad. I've got a nice looking custom rock model that I considered using, so I guess I'll put that in. New version will be out soon and will hopefully look better.
update, should be a big difference between this and the last one. I feel it lives up to the name "emp_slaughtered" a bit more now.
Hopefully you won't get anything like that, I don't see why you got it in the first place. What graphics settings are you playing at?
eh might be something to do with the antialiasing but probably more like a bad download. have you tried with the new version?
Not yet. I just formated my HD and reinstalled my OS yesterday. Still getting everything back on. To my dismay I have 20gigs of steam downloads to do due to forgetting to backup some games. I have a stack of DVD's I burned 1/4th as high as me of steam game backups. I had to format my HD because of the random errors in the partition table were building up. Have not formatted it in 7 years. And fix it tools only trashed the partition table instead of fixing it. Things like, you can see directories or files but, if you try to open them you get invalid access errors. You can't even view the properties of the items. And of course the names of the files/directories are gibberish. A full format reviled no physical errors but, to be on the safe side I ran a check disk with sector check on and returned not errors. So im good now.
