i like both rainbowroad and octogons. but perhaps it should be modified so theres less chance of griefing the CV?
It's an easy fix for Octogons. Make the comm vehicle flying. There's no chance of abuse that already isn't possible (driving/flying into the instadeath abyss), it doesn't add much gamebreaking strategic value (provided areas that could only be accessed by flying are invisiwalled off), and it's a fun thing for a fun map. /jk
SRSLY, if there was an entity (I think that's what they're called) that teleported the comm truck when it entered the entity thing's area to a point elsewhere on the map regardless if there is a driver or not, then you could make that over all the areas you don't want comm bricks to enter or be griefed into, such as bottomless pits.
It's called point_teleport.
I think a func_vehicle_clip for the CVs would be amusing in octagon, so that it never falls. Especially given destructible floors are kind of the point. The catch is CVs driving across unbuilt blocks.
But, in rainbowroad, falling CVs is part of the fun.

the thing is the CV will get nine mined or pushed off =\ in both maps. enemy jeep rushing is a valid tactic, but u cant do shit against 9mining from ur own team.
i get pissed, cause i want to play rainbowroad or octogons and some fart knocker griefs.
