The dev's should really consider this as an official map, so much love and care has gone into this, not just from the creator but also the feedback from the community... Maybe some sort of a backstory is also in order for this? just to top it all of with a cherry on top :p
okay i re uploaded the .rar file so u can just extrack it into empires folder [Latest One] Version 5 http://www.hlrse.net/empiresvhe/R_yell/emp_mvalley_rc5.rar
I second that motion! A priority though would be to get a really good custom maps server. That way a map doesn't have to be official before people actually start playing it.
have you ask at stormed.de to get this map hosted on one of theres servers, they have already one custom map on there server.
Its possible to jump over the dam-briges without contructing them. The Brenodiway: NF: Klick to see 1. Klick to see 2. Klick to see 3. Klick to see 4. Klick to see 5. btw: i love your map.
Hey I got a suggestion for this, those bridges over the water stick out like a sore thumb to me and are like death traps for tanks, I suggest you make a completely custom model for them as perhaps one wooden bridge instead of 2 joined together?
I love this map, i noticed something though while playing. I started on the brenodi side and lookie here, floating grass bushles everywhere.
Looks like you've messed up an install (unless you blanked out the minimap :/) Did you download it from joining a server, or did you download it externally?
there could be added a func_clip_vphysics, it'd prevent such problems I think Maybe you have a custom detailsprites.vtf under materials/detail directory. That should not happen, any custom sprite material should be zipped into the map bsp or other maps could read it by mistake. I'll see if can change my detailsprites material route.
How about a ref in the middle island that gives a lrager amount of resource than any of the other refs. This would center combat around that.
