    how bout using some of the things Keef used in Manticore? like theres a dumpster, some railings, little team coloured barricades, benches and garbage cans.... spam it up yo

    the openess of this map i would say is actually a welcome break from maps like district where it's just one giant clusterfuck. only problem is that most people are too retarded to hold flags, so it's just one big battle of tug-of-war

    tug of war is the worst game ever. huge slippery slope, and you can never comeback from a loss.

    Ring maps work with vehicles (see shadows RC9) but definitely not infantry. Too much immobility and fragility, you just can't push forward effectively in empires.

    oh yea, that's another issue that needs to be addressed with this map. easily campable spawns also contribute to this issue.

    Looks enormously better, nice job lamer. Could still do with a 3d skybox and a little more detailing, especially on the destroyed parts and interiors, but otherwise, great stuff, looking forward to playing the new version.

    i don't know if im going to do anymoe aesthetic changes. i just want to get it balanced enough so i can move on to another map.

    Gameplay changes look nice, and new stuff, but I preferred the old skybox and lighting.

    Sunny maps are nicer. You're all just miserable and want everything to be dull and miserable. This is why I liked old canyon more, and forest, palmbay, bush, etc. Sunny maps are better maps.

    Sunny yes, but while preston may be located under a giant orange tinted space dome, out here in the normal world, the sun isn't the same colour as the sign for the pizza shop over the road.

    The last screenshot is more sunny than the orange one, I'd put the intensity up some, but the colours are pretty close to correct.
