[EMOSL] Pug-Draft Sunday 20th July 21:00 BST/4pm EDT/1pm PDT

    THE EVENT WILL BE HOSTED ON THE VIPER PUG SERVER. THE PASSWORD IS emosl1





    Hello there Empires Mod Community. As you may already know, the EMOSL will be hosting a PUG-Draft on July 20th, 2014 at 4 PM EDT/ 1 PM PDT/ 21:00 BST. Please read the guidelines below if you would like to participate.


    Guidelines
    Step 1: Join the PUG-Server before 4 PM EDT. (the password will be distributed via the forums and the steam group so subscribe to this thread if you need it)

    Step 2: When directed by me (Lawliet), after 10 minutes into the event time, join spectator in order for the draft to proceed.

    Step 3: Captains will draft teams. Please join your assigned teams. If you would not like to participate, you can slap on a [SPEC] tag or leave the server.

    Step 4: Rinse and repeat the process for each map. This eliminates the odds in which teams are unbalanced due to players leaving.

    Note: Those who join late will be allowed to play, simply auto-assign to a team

    Some rules to throw in order to promote clean-play
    1. No exploiting of any kind will be permitted. If you are caught, you will be banned for the rest of the event. (This does not include 9-mining)

    2. Flaming a player repeatedly will earn you a gag and/or mute for the remainder of the round.

    3. Do not spam during the draft. You will be muted/gagged.



    As for the rest, we need captains to volunteer for the event. If you have anyone in mind, please feel free to write his/her name in this thread and I will contact him leading up to the event. Thank you for your cooperation and have a nice day.

    There will be drafting, which means you'd require decent knowledge over our current playerbase.

    If your picks are bad, you'll end up having a bad game.

    I have a question, which maps will we be playing, or will they be decided in-game? Hopefully we can play some maps that aren't played so often.
