There are better systems for playing a space RPG, like Stars Without Number. As for starting in a brothel kind of place, this shouldn't be too hard. You want in? I can easily whip up a one-shot for that.
Mmmm, yeah. Prepare for disappointment. I would give quests ahead of time kinda like what destroyer does if I could, but I don't know the quests til you find them. I do have more intricate stuff in the pipeline, but the bigger quest lines I can think of will have to wait til we start the large campaign. The past few sessions have given me enough confidence in actually doing something like that. For what we are currently doing though, well really I just need to sit down and make things so I'm not drawing terrible sharks right when we need them.
at 1 pm uk im going to go the most boring holiday ever and its 2 hours min, but its not unconcivable it will drag to no end. I hope ill get back on time though.
All Saints Day is by far my least favorite Holiday. Particularly when it takes up the entirety of Sunday, because the day is spent going from one cemetery to another.

Oh, I forgot it's day light savings today. Is europe winding thier clocks back an hour today, or is that in two weeks for you? I know someone mentioned that to me once.
Well that was an incredibly short session due to short notice, but at least there's stuff happening and promises of more to come. Building a world is hard. Building it while having unexpected things happen makes it harder. I should remember that for future notice.
Worldbuilding is the hardest thing, it takes the most time. Just look at koibu and his Cartography and Behind the Screen series.
