It's not like there is actually a color palette in existence for any of the factions that anyone bothered to document...
Well it looks brand new instead of the rust everywhere look we have now. Thats not bad in itself, but i noticed it looks way more comfy than youd expect from a resource hungry, lower tech side.
blahblah its great ... ... worship it! as for the color scheme - i like the bordeauxish red and steel a lot more then the desaturated orange mixed with pink and idk what other colors are in the current textures.
Yeah, but not with some color palette to guide me. Right now I'm just doing color picking on the old textures and eyeballing it.
I like the car. Still very 1920's oldskool lookin' to me, but that's just fine, I still like it. Seats look leatherette. I know they're probably like copper plates or something, but the colouring is closer to plush leather. If that could be changed I think it'd look less luxurious.
Thanks! It was really easy to get in-game since I could just use the old jeep rig, I've been playing around some with the materials and finally got specular maps working together with cubemaps. Still WIP on the textures, nothing is final yet but here is where it's currently at:
Took a 'lil time to get used to it. But yes, it's really badass. Can you add a blood skin to the wheels so when someone is run over it gets bloody?
it looks so awesome everything else in empires looks like from 8years ago ... no really, great work. also the color scheme, keep it, rather paint everything else differently :D
You know you could have just asked me and I'd given you the working material files. ;P Did you only use specular or phongexponent as well? Also the rear wheel is a bit sunk into the ground. Other than that, nice job.
The wheel thing can be fixed in thirty seconds by making the physics wheel bigger in handling script, so it's no biggie.
I know that, but someone at least has to notice and mention it. Also the windshield looks a bit wierd.
