I will concede that a certain amount of resources is needed to achieve power in a democracy, but this is because unfair distribution of resources breeds in itself an undemocratic society. Someone with a lot of money will have an easier time influencing opinion then a poor person. I cannot speak for the situation in the UK of course, but not all politician comes from a silver spoon uprising. Furthermore it seems like demanding a university education for you to work in politics is further enhancing this problem, especially in countries were you pay for your own education. Also not all university educations are up to par. Some skills needed as politician comes, at least I believe, from life experience. Saying all politicans are bad because they lack education seems cynical and chauvinistic to me, thats all.

I just don't get it. Every time they tried to attack from the back, I thought, fuck, we can score here. Then they just stopped that and instead just kicked it back into Italian possession. Like seriously, what the fuck were they trying to accomplish with that? I can get doing 3, maybe 4 times, until you accept it isn't working. But in that first half alone, I counted over 20 separate occasions when they did it. They just didn't deserve it.
It's European football, the point of the game is to be scored on the least so you get a goal and just park the bus in front of the net. Better watch South American football, where the point of the game is to get the most goals.
No, the point of South American football is to fall over in the box often enough to get a penalty, at which point your team will congratulate the diver on his fine work. That kind of shit is infecting our European game and it makes me really sad.
The only reason the level of play is horrendous is because nations who kick your ass like argentina and brazil cant show up. Manchester City owns United.
Italy vs England was a good match for a spectator that is and certainly not English spectator. I heard explanation that they play defensively that way to slow the game down because they know that Italians are in far better physical condition.
Manchester City are a bought team who bought success and got lucky for a season. They might get lucky next season. But the fact is this. Form is temporary. Class is permanent.
I dont believe in nobility. I dont mind things you could consider stupid. The things I love the most are stupid. But we shoudnt be hypocrits about it.
