That's honestly it though. In Empires, you can play for K/D. I could easily go 10:1 if I really wanted, but would I have fun? Probably not.

Most kills, most Deaths, most Glory.

DayZ is no different. Once you realise that no kit is so important it can't be replaced, and every weapon is capable of killing people, you just stop caring, if your actual aim is to kill people.

 

We should play more for the lulz, try making a bus service, get slaves, build huge fireplace-'n-tanktrap-fortresses, teabag paradox, bus-race around the map... u know, the stuff other people do in normal arma2

 

I'm game for anything that upsets Paradox.

Meh, I guess I just get bored of running for hours then dieing and collecting over 9000 chemlights and bandages.

 

Go to the airfield. You'll find guns and other cool stuff. And you'll get to start over automagically every few days!

Quick guide on how to set up Lingor-DayZ

Lingor is a custom map for Arma2OA, that is set around a huge tropical island with many rivers and small towns. Lingor Dayz uses its own hive, so you can have a char in Chernarus and in Lingor at the same time. The whole installation process is easy, but not well documented so far. This quick Guide assumes that you already have the latest Arma2OA-Beta either in "Expansion\beta\.." or in main folder.

1. Download DayZ Lingor Installer for version 032RC,

2. Enjoy the fact that the whole installer is in German language,

3. Get Arma2OA Beta Update and swap it's exe with original Arma2OA.exe

3. Download and install Arma2 Launcher,

4. Launch Options should look quite like this (the Arma2OA beta is important, normal beta for old Arma2 [not OA] is never needed):

6.Click "CREATE SHORTCUT" and save it on desktop,

7. Test it,

8. Rage, because actually is dolan.

I'm curious if there are Aircraft Carriers out on the sea and what actually is at "ancient riddle".

So far I found out it sucks to find a wookiee suite in the middle of a city, I'm very fucking visible now, and putting a woodland camo tent next to a bunch of palmtrees is quite silly, too.

 

Maybe why you shouldn't of bought ArmA 2 just for DayZ

 

Or you could think that you're actually sponsoring the developers of dayZ and Arma series, and that the Day Z standalone wouldn't have happened if not so many people had bought the game just Day Z?

I got arma 2 for dayz and I love lolz in arma. Start on carrier fly aircraft to the middle of no where then respawn and repeat.
