I'm gonna have to tell you the truth mrdie. People are trying to steer you away for the wrong reasons, calling you names and whatever and trying to make you uncomfortable. Here's the real deal: this place is dead, not like no one plays here but that the community intellectually is dead. You're probably here to find some people to talk to about communism but even the most radical don't keep it real and are probably just social democrats who believe that socialism and capitalism can coincide like in Sweden or Canada. No one will agree with you here that the 5 year plans were in fact the greatest thing to happen to the people of the USSR (except Ukraine lmao), and that the famines are totally not Stalin's fault. They'll probably even try to convince you that Tito was significantly a much greater leader than Enver Hoxha.

This place is most likely filled with Trotskyist, Mensheviks, Maoist, Justin Trudeau voters (respect for Pierre Trudeau), Eurofascist, Neo-Fascist, Armenian genocide deniers, Eco-Fascist, Anarcho-Capitalist, and Austrians.

I have to say I am very disappointed that it has come to this. While the original post was intended as a definite announcement to end a particularly long chapter of empires history. It appears that some have used this as an excuse to stir trouble, including against and between the devs and moderators of this community. The latter I take especially personal.

For this reason I am locking the thread. I have spoken to MrDie, and if certain users indeed feel so strongly about a mere acknowledgement, then perhaps it is best that we simply put to rest and finalise this so cooler heads can prevail again.

 

Update: Forum link added. eRegime will include in it the Blackholian userbase, just as it currently contains other userbases, some of which are historically linked to it. The logo is of the Blackhole and was picked per request, and in accordance with the Plan the hotbar link will be controlled by the Blackholian userbase in a democratic manner. In this way the Empirian and Blackholian users will be linked together through two forums.
