If you ever get a clan / team together in which every player is a real good grenadier, you would win every game. Yes sure they need to know how to build stuff as engineer too But they would overwhelm the enemy in the early game and if you rush rpg upgrades the enemy wouldnt have any chance. Thought of it yesterday, the grenadier is a class which is totaly overpowered. Its only balanced because most people avoid to play it.
i have to agree. unless you are in tight quarters mortar + pistol is the rape against infantery, if you get lots of not retarded grens the game is yours
Im agree with this. Though a team of really good engineers with revive would do the same. Infact, a whole team of really awesome scouts.........!
yes, grenadier is pretty uber if played by a skilled player. but on public servers there are normally only a 1-3 good grens, so that it isnt a real problem. but a whole team of skilled grens = for the enemy.
Gosh, a really skilled team winning matches, who would have thought, we must correct this intolerable issue immediately.
would you kindly shut the fuck up? whats the point of teamwork/multiple classes if you can win like this?
Wrong. Counter Argument: JPL Like Cyber said, get a good group of Rifleman and they're a lot more efficient in killing infantry than grens.
A team of good scouts < all. But seriously, that's the problem. Scouts suck. Riflemen are decent if used well, but strictly 'optional' and much more situational than grenadiers (because stickies only work at close range, and they're weak against buildings/turrets overall.) Engineers are essential, but generalized. So for anything that doesn't specifically require an engineer, Grenadiers end up seeming "overpowered" simply by comparison to the other classes. While there might be a few changes to Grenadiers that would be nice (I'd like them to be a bit less effective against infantry so riflemen are more important), mostly 'fixing' this requires changes to the other two classes, especially scouts. It's not really so much that Grenadiers are overpowered as it is that riflemen have a somewhat less useful role on most maps, and scouts have practically no role at all.
Fulfilling =! Winning. A team of engineers and rifleman escorts would easily capture ground and actually get bases up, the gren team would get fucking owned by STD APCs [if they kept their distance] covered by riflemen. And you fail to take into account the fact that the other team isn't just going to curl up and cry, they're gunna rush the enemy base and crush the gren team, without and buildings the balanced team will just crush the barracks and the grens are fucked. GG. Bitch.
Show me the APC and its usually dead 10 seconds later. Oh and I assume that the commander of this "most time grenadier" team would rush both rpg upgrades so APC wouldnt be any problem.
