    but its unimportant of which players the teams consist with this stack ^^
    im talking about the average vets, not the top end - these players are not the issue at all, they know they are good, they dont need stacking and i see them counterstacking a lot - prolly the reason why they are at their skilllevel. i mean those puny egos who wait for one of them to join a team before they make their own decisions. ofc none of us is completely without guilt for stacking, everyone does once in a while, even our top players, nevertheless ...

    I freely admit to joining Trickster's/Zeke's team during PUGs, but in normal times, I either don't care or attempt a counterstack.

    another big thing is prolonging the game in the end just to rank up points. its something that usually comes from vets aswell. and again, not talking about our top players, it really isnt them ...

    its nothing but sadistic and should be handled by server owners. this certainly drives as much newbies away as constant stacking does.

    As someone who didn't really play this seriously til like late '12, I don't really recognize a lot of names. So I can't really tell just how bad a team is stacked til I start playing it. I'm getting a bit better at telling though, I'm starting to recognize quite a few people who do real well.

    Still, You can't blame people who join the game before comm vote ends, they joined the team before it became a stack.

    No one wants to blame people.

    Ideally, we would migrate to a system where we can't blame people because we're not relying on their goodwill.

    For example, why do we have a team balance feature that requires numerically equal teams? Couldn't we just "trust" the playerbase to even themselves up?

    Of course not. We'd end up bitching at assholes that jump on one team and ruin the match. That's literally what's already happening with stacking.

    Noobs are worthless and they just muddy up the existing team balance system. So we need a slight adjustment.

    You are confusing noobs with newbies and sub-par regulars. This might sound disrespectful, but the percentage of noobs is rather low compared to what you claim.

    Honestly by stacking I only mean the top end players. I can agree that newbies can defeat normal veterans if newbies work together.

    Problem is a lot of the vets that remain are top end.

    No offense to them, but Quet and Doc are obvious weakpoints.

    What I don't like is, sometimes when one team is horribly stacked and I joined to counterstack, a wild vet pops up and joins the "previously" stacked team, increasing the difficulty.

    If oyu put Xya in there, you should put the actual best people ever, nad not just him and the people currently playing, it skews the outcome.

    Oh that, yeah....ummm. Yeah. Wasn't much point for the last 2 weeks cuz either full servers or crashing. Anyways I'll do up the infos and stuff, but I want to know, do you guys want it to be open? Or have it pass worded and players need to sign up? I think if it was sign ups the most it will be is around 26-30 players. Open pug will most likely be full server I think. So, small highly organized games or giant clusterfucks?(I am somewhat optimistic on the full server thing.)

    I'll do it sometime late tomorrow, so please say something. If no one does I'll assume it will be open pug.

    No real reason to do a pug when we've got a full server. Just join EPIC main this Saturday, I should be playing all night.
