haha remember that scene with the concussion... u were the cratewhoring :P
shouldve made a demo and place it on youtube.

Trickster's right saying I'm not that new to empires. I played it for half a year until I joined forums. He's not right stating he's superior to me in any way though.
Flasche, you're german as well, don't make people believe austria does not belong to germany.

Who the hell plays District? Shit map for having a shit time at the chokepoint in the middle.
Stop introducing District into this discussion, since it is not what makes Empires into what Empires is.
Empires needs a commander, placeable buildings AND FPS class-based gameplay to be Empires.
District is just an uglier, less fun 2fort on TF2.

As for tickets, I suggest you try out how classic maps work with ginormous ticket counts.
Last time I played, which was day before yesterday, I remember no victories being achieved by ticket loss, games were fun, and ended by walling commanders.
Tickets are a gameplay mechanic, but on classic maps it is a very unused and unfun one.
To limit the ability to spawn you already can destroy enemy rax, no point in having one more UI element for players to keep their eyes on. And Revive is still useful, even without tickets, as several above posters have described: you keep pressure on the front lines, keep your squad together.

You know you can remove tickets on classic maps, and still keep them on Escort/District.

Tickets are actually less of a problem on classic maps recently. I had assumed someone had had a look at them and bumped them by 200 or so. They were ridiculously low in one of the previous versions.

Is that such a bad thing?
Historically, austria belonged to germany for centuries, (or vica versa, dunno)
almost the same culture, speech, laws, history, religions and politics with changes mostly due to normal intranational geographical distances,
just because it had to be cut off from germany after war shouldn't make it such a bad thing to think about, the reason is gone since long
borders are normaly formed due to different speech/culture/religion, here I don't see a single of these 3 reasons, it just produces more administration costs for nothing imo

I think that increasing tickets will make boring games go on longer.

Well you can't really say austria belonged to Germany for centuries, since Germany as a state only is about 200 years old...
Austrian History is worth reading, you could compare it to flasche and me, me being prussia and flasche austria. Sometimes friends, sometimes kicking each others asses.

Just because it had a different name doesn't make it a different state imo, "Holy roman empire of german nations" even contains "german" ...
    what else do you need?

Meh, that tard came from your side, we should have sued you for biological warfare!

Holy Roman Empire of German nations was not one nation. It's been a couple of loose nations, countries, states whatever you would call them, which agreed to temporarily follow the lead of one king as long as he at the same time is legitimated as emperor by the pope.

Yeah, but then the whole empire wasn't one nation, and thus all single nations had the same political connection inclusive austria, that's what I meant by it "was part of it", also when germany was founded the only reason why austria didn't join was prussia, which doesn't even exist anymore, ;)
One could even say the only reason austria didn't join was the rather succefull war from Friedrich the second ...
or more drastically: 1 guys at fault for it
